Careers at Classtime

We are looking for world-class talent ready to tackle challenging projects that will ultimately shape learners into critical thinkers.

Educational Consultant (K12), California

Location: California Client School Sites & Work From Home / California, USA
Start: Summer 2026
Type: Full-Time Employment
On Target Earnings: $90,000 - $150,000 (Base Salary & Performance Bonus. Additional discretionary bonuses may be awarded based on company and individual performance.)

Classtime is transforming K12 learning worldwide. With offices in Santa Barbara, California, and Zurich, Switzerland, our solution has proven impact on student outcomes in high-stakes CAASPP testing across Math, ELA, and Science. As our work in California deepens, we're looking for a seasoned K12 Educational Consultant to own, lead, and grow the district and school partnerships that turn that impact into reality.

This isn't a typical consultant role. You'll join a high-energy team running California together — shaping professional development, strategic partnerships, content, and student success side by side. Your engagement goes far beyond a one-time implementation: it's an invitation to build trusted relationships and long-term wins with the educators who shape the next generation of critical thinkers.

You'll be empowered to draw on your deep experience, trusted relationships, and adult-learning instincts to drive meaningful growth. We're looking for someone who doesn't need to be told what to do, but instead wants to help shape what comes next — and to share in the value they help create.

What You'll Do
- Lead exceptional, in-person professional development for educators at school and district sites (65–100 days per school year).
- Partner directly with the people who move the needle — Chief Academic Officers, Directors of Curriculum, Assistant Superintendents of Instruction, Principals, Assistant Principals, Instructional Coaches, and TOSAs — to align strategy with student achievement.
- Help design, customize, and align rigorous, strategic-thinking assessments that meet each partner where they are.

What You Bring
- Five or more years teaching K12 in California, ideally with time spent as an instructional coach or similar.
- At least three years in site- or district-level instructional leadership.
- A strong grounding in elementary, middle, or high school math (ELA/ELD or Science is a big plus).
- A bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel across California.
- References who speak to your performance, integrity, and collaborative spirit.

What We Offer
- On-target earnings of $90,000–$150,000 (base plus performance bonus)
- Comprehensive health coverage
- 401(k) with company match
- Remote-first setup balanced with the travel that comes with meaningful in-person partnership work across California.
